Key tasks & Activities

Responsible for operating machines and other associated equipment efficiently as per instructions.
Maintaining machines and equipment.
Being Health & Safety compliant.
Maintaining high standards of Housekeeping.

Who we are looking for…

Background and Experience

1-year experience in a manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of Health & Safety
Action orientated and able to follow work instructions
Mechanical / electrical experience would be advantageous

Technical Skills

Tool changes and planned maintenance would be advantageous.

Interpersonal Skills

Excellent Team skills along with an enthusiastic and proactive approach
Energetic and enthusiastic approach to their current role, whilst being an effective communicator at all levels.
Possess good interpersonal skills, along with excellent organizational skills and job prioritization

Maintenance Engineer (Multi skilled)

Logoplaste UK are currently seeking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to integrate into the plant operation team in Coleford.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will be required to work as an integral part of the team and be able to demonstrate a good hands-on approach.

Key tasks & Activities

Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance of all plant equipment on site
Maintaining PPM’s, work procedures, risk assessments and involvement in continuous improvement activities across the site
Respond efficiently to equipment failures and diagnosing breakdowns to minimize downtime
Plan, implement and coordinate safety programs to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions. Promoting workplace and equipment safety by identifying and monitoring potential hazards to people or the sites equipment
Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience
Experience with PLC (Siemens 7)
Use of SAP
Ensuring part components are booked to correct SAP maintenance transactions
Awareness and Adherence of Health and Safety Policies.
Complete risk assessments

Who we are looking for...

Background and Experience

Electrically biased with strong Mechanical skills
Proven track record of engineering experience in manufacturing. Blow moulding / Injection moulding would be advantageous
NVQ level 3 / HNC qualified
IT and computer maintenance systems (CMS / SAP) would be advantageous
Good logical thought process regarding fault diagnosis and rectification

Technical Skills

Knowledge of PLC’s and Inverter drives would be advantageous.
18th edition would be advantageous.
Proficient with PC based systems (Excel, SAP) to oversee routine maintenance and organise repairs. Although training will be given
Good understanding of Health & Safety

Interpersonal Skills

Team ethic;
Flexibility and proactive;
Effective trouble shooter;
Self-motivation and prepared to work diligently;

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Team Leader will be required to work as an integral part of the production team and be able to demonstrate a good hands-on approach, including administrative tasks.

Key tasks & Activities…

Managing a safe working environment, PPE auditing and site cleanliness
Ensure quality is maintained across all production.
Manage and progress your team to fulfil production needs.
Keep the daily operations of the organisation flowing smoothly. Providing support, direction and assistance to the team in all areas
Accurate recording of material and product movements
Actively managing the development of the team. Ensuring people are working through their training matrix.
Leading the induction and training of new starters on your team.
Responsible for actively managing all HR related issues, such as absence management and performance management following corporate processes and procedures.
Cover Team Leader duties across the shift in conjunction with your fellow Team Leaders
Create and sustain a culture that is aligned to Logoplaste’s corporate values and principles by role-modelling behaviours, motivating, encouraging, and recognising the contribution of Team Members

Who we are looking for…

Background and Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory capacity.
Have a broad range of experience in different areas of production.
Experienced in the Logoplaste production and supply processes.
Demonstrate recognised levels of competence that are consistent with the role.
Demonstrate potential to lead, engage, train and develop direct reports.

Technical Skills

Competent in using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
Previous experience of Graham Wheel/EBM/ISBM machines would be advantageous.
Leadership skills and ability to identify training needs.
Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health & Safety.
Capability to train on production lines under your management.

People skills

Positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude at all times
Flexibility and reliability are essential for this position.
Possess good interpersonal skills, along with excellent organizational skills and job prioritisation.
Leadership skills and identifying training needs on shift.
Experience in providing support to the team, continuously driving performance.
